I used to use Picture It! to do my photo editing … but it doesn’t work in Vista (or at least I couldn’t make it work and nobody could tell me how) so again, I had to search for new software to complete one of my routine tasks. I tried google’s picasa, which works well for viewing thumbnails and finding just the photo you want, but it’s pretty worthless for editing.

I just downloaded (free!) and so far, I’m impressed. It’s easy to figure out, it loads fast, and it has lots of effects and adjustment options which I’ll explore at my leisure. So this one gets 5 stars, and you get a picture I played with. If you click on the picture, you’ll get a closer view and be able to see the amazing detail of some of God’s creation. [Confession: There's not a lot of pink in upstate New York in September, hollyhocks or otherwise. I took this in July.]

Sorry, I don’t know anything about Picture It! or, but I do appreciate you linking to my post about the Christian and voting.

P.S. I wish I had thought of the Psalm you have quoted in your sidebar when I put that lesson together.

“It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes (or presidents).” Psalm 118:8-9

You’re welcome! Your post (For Whom Should a Christian Vote? See “Worth Reading” sidebar) is well worth reading. I’m afraid too many of us are more interested in being “right” than in being Christian.

I don’t know how much of it you’ll agree with, but I did a recent post on church and state that you might find interesting:

    Thanks for stopping by!
