On his blog, Daniel Hannan wonders why this video instantly became so popular. I have two reasons:

  1. It’s incredibly refreshing to hear someone tell a politician to their face exactly what we would like to say to them, if only we had the opportunity and the eloquence, and
  2. If you substitute “Obama” for “Brown” as you listen, you can pretend that someone in Washington has learned to speak the truth.
