The VA has published a booklet for our soldiers called Your Life Your Choices. You can read a summary post that explains it at In fact, I hope you do. They have a link to the whole booklet.

I was going to write a full post about it … but I simply can’t. My heart is just too heavy. All I can do is cry out, “What has become of our nation?” and echo the words of my Lord Jesus:

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem,
the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her!
How often I wanted to gather your children together,
just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings,
and you would not have it!
Behold, your house is left to you desolate;
and I say to you,
you will not see Me until the time comes when you say,
(Luke 13:34-35)
