Tesla’s idea for electricity generation/propagation lost out to Edison’s. Know why? Cuz Edison’s needed xopper wiring to work, and J.P. Morgan owned the copper industry. So Morgan pressured businesses and government to support Edison’s idea, even though Tesla’s idea was more economical, affordable, and safer.
Lobbying at it’s best. :-p
So would this be the prototype of how things get done in Washington? Maybe you should write a post about it.
