Once again, I have nothing to say this week. I’ll offer just one verse because instead of writing, I’m going to be doing housework, like an excellent wife.
She looks well to the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
(Proverbs 31:27)

Excellent verse! Proverbs 31 is full of excellent verses!
“Many daughters have done well, but you have exceeded them all.”
Proverbs something-or-other (can’t find it instantly), quoted approximately. What a Bible scholar I am, ha, ha!
@ Renee Proverbs 31 is an amazing blueprint for being an excellent wife. Sometimes, though, I get tired just reading it!
@Jim I don’t think I’ve exceeded them all, and maybe not even a few, but I did get the kitchen floor mopped, quite an accomplishment for this ouchy Mary-not-Martha-type.
Akagaga: I thought that was hilarious how your post and mine went together! LOL When I came here to post my link, I saw your Scripture and had to laugh!
(As you know, my WFW wasn’t about housework, it was about not being anxious and troubled about many things, but instead concentrating on the one thing that is needed– sitting at Jesus feet and hearing His words.) But still, it was so funny!
@Renee God does have a sense of humor, doesn’t He?
