My Word for Wednesday this week is more of a rant than usual, and can be found in the post just previous to this one, entitled Montgomery County Homeschooling Parents Arrested. I am incensed that the government continues its assault on families who reject their political agenda.

That said, I would be appreciative of your comments on this subject, either here or at the previous post.

Behold, children are a gift of the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.

(Psalms 127:3)

That’s one of the things I like so much about this blog — every post, pretty much, can be a WFW post.

Concerning the Cressys: it’s an outrage, of course. Power seems to have no meaning for tyrants — definitely including the minor, local tyrants, like school officials — unless it is being exercised, by threatening, arresting, beating, humiliating, or in some other way abusing a victim. Where and how it ends, I do not know. Maybe it ends very badly indeed. All I know is that, unless it is ended by the return of the Prince of Peace, it won’t end permanently. One set of oppressors will be overthrown, but will soon enough be replaced by another set: maybe by the overthrowers themselves.

Oh, how fortunate we are. We live in “interesting times.”

unless it is ended by the return of the Prince of Peace, it won’t end permanently. I’m not so big anymore on “interesting times,” so I’ll just keep praying, “Come, Lord Jesus.”

I’m writing a post on this later today. It’s too long to leave it as a comment here. I’ve had a few days to mull this over, and have come to some conclusions about the matter. Of course, by the time I finally mull the situation over, the news story is several days past and considered by most to be “old news.” I think the media purposely does this– gluts us with barrages of news– to keep us all from considering a matter and THINKING wisely about them.

More to come. I shall return. ;)

P.S. I started my 4th blog, you know. More on that, too. :D heehee
