… what you were dreaming, when the alarm goes off and you sit up in bed and say aloud, “Pulley face.”

Maybe I should get to bed earlier.

    Pully face, huh?

Interesting … I was awakened by my wife sometime in the small hours of this morning, and we had what must have been a laughably bizarre conversation. Turns out that she was having a nightmare involving the boogeyman, in some form or other, having grabbed her hands and trying to pull her out of bed and into deep water or some such, and she couldn’t get any help from me because I wouldn’t wake up in her dream. I suspect I was very hard to wake up in reality also, because I sleep very much like a dead man. I can’t begin to remember what-all was said while we were both waking up, but I’d pretty well guarantee that very little of it made any kind of sense at all.

35 years of marriage, and that’s the first time that’s ever happened. There’s always new fun to be had, I guess.

Glad to know ours isn’t the only crazy household. A while back, my hubby woke me up and it sounded like he was preaching a very bizarre, nonsensical sermon. Then he started whistling. Whistling!
