In case you didn’t get out to see a show, here are some shots of the doings at Congress Park in Saratoga last night.¬†¬† They won’t win any awards, but as this was my first attempt at catching fireworks, I was pretty pleased with the results.

There’s the duck pond, too, and a few other uniquely “Saratoga” sights.

    Wow, your first attempt?!! These are beautiful pictures!! How did you do it? My photos of fireworks usually look very lame.

    @Renee Well, first I put the camera on my hubby’s tripod. Then I set the camera to “fireworks.” :) About the only part that was tricky was taking the photo before the fireworks actually went up – timing, and all that.
